Melt Artâ?¢ Color Mixing

It’s easy to mix color in the Melting Pot for endless possibilities! Always use Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel™ (UTEE) as the base in color mixing. Clear UTEE is available in 4oz., 8oz. and 1lb Jars.

By Debbie Tlach

Opaque colors:

  1. Melt Clear UTEE in Melting Pot®
Tip: Cover UTEE with lid when melting. Do not stir.
  2. Sprinkle in a small amount of one of the following UTEE colors: Black, White, Bronze, Gold or Platinum (Available in 3oz. Jars.)
Tip: These are highly pigmented powders. A small amount is all you need to colorize the clear UTEE.
  3. Stir gently with the Melt Art spatula.

Tip: Make opaque and pastel with white UTEE:
