SPELLBINDER IMPRESSABILITIES - TIPS & TRICKS

Introducing Impressabilities™

Spellbinders released Impressabilities at the Winter Craft and Hobby Association trade show in late January in USA.. These templates make up the latest innovation from the company that continues to change the die cutting industry. Creating with them is such a blast and we’re so excited to show them off.

These super little ditties perform a number of functions to help you embellish paper craft projects. Let’s take a look at the initial offering:

Each template (5-3/4" x 4-1/2") can:

1. Emboss a full A2 card front: Embossing the Coredinations paper and then sanding the top allows the core color of the cardstock to come through. Card by Holly Craft
2. Emboss or deboss Die cutting colored foil with the Classic Heart die template is a great beginning for this a striking card, but why stop there? Emboss it with Impressabilities and sand it to create this look. Card by Holly Craft
3. Act as a mask or stencil AND mimic a letter press by inking it and running it through the Wizard Notice how the inner medallion of the card is inked, or stenciled, through the template. While the technique for the outer portion included inking the template and then "letter pressing" it onto the cardstock. Card by Holly Craft
4. Embellish paper crafts when cut apart: The card on top of the small stack features intricate embossing with the Flower Impressabilities template. Then a small portion of it was cut out and added as an embellishment to finish it off.
